Already work was underway to build an Adventure Park on the land behind our 1st base dugout and eventually taking nearly all of Right Field.

Through numerous meeting with the Mayor and the City Council  we’ve been given two years to continue with baseball but after that our future is unknown. We can use all the help we can get to make this work here in Szentendre, Hungary. Recruiting more players has been our immediate focus. If you know of anybody age 6 to 60 in the area that wants to give baseball a try, send them our way! With recruitment comes the need for more equipment. The Orioles Advocates of Baltimore, Maryland can provide us with as much equipment as we can afford to ship over so donations to cover this are of primary importance. The last shipment of about 30 used gloves, bats, balls, uniform pants, & helmets cost us about $350USD. Helping us arrange a second shipment for the 2018 season will help us outfit additional players during our summer day-camps.

If we are successful in recruiting additional young players and are able to secure a longer term lease on the field the next step is new fencing, dugouts, turf for the outfield, and hopefully a batting cage. Currently our field sits alongside a beautiful section of Bukkos Creek just about a mile northwest of the historic town of Szentendre. The main road that connects to the Danube Bend National Forest and continues to places such as Esztergom and Visegrad runs along the 3rd base foul line with clear views of Left, Center, & Right fields.
